Join multidisciplinary artist Tara Rook and PYC meditation teacher on the Winter Solstice for a dreamy guided meditation experience using live ambient music and energy work to relax your body, connect to and align your subtle energetic body so that you can begin a new year cycle with a sense of renewal.

The Winter Solstice represents a time of death and rebirth. It is a time of coming in and reflecting, of connecting to oneself and to others. We have an opportunity to begin a new cycle, to say goodbye to the old, to leave behind what doesn’t serve us and to start new. We can create an experience of rest and relaxation as grounds for unfolding authentically for the year to come.

We will begin with a moment to reflect on the year and write any personal aspirations for the year to come. Then you will be guided by a meditation to melt away tension and relax your entire body which will then transport you to a period of deep rest. During this time of deep rest you will receive body and energy work to help align your being while listening to live ambient music by Just Milk (Tara’s electronic music project). You will then be guided out of deep rest to focus the mind on the present, gently stretch your body, and center your awareness.
