Magic Body: Collective Healing Session With Ambient Sound

  • Sound Mind Live 202b Plymouth Street Brooklyn, NY, 11201 United States (map)

“I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being.” - Hafiz of Shiraz

Join Brooklyn based multidisciplinary artist, music producer, and healer, Tara Rook at Sound Mind Live to experience the transformative power of Magic Body, where the essence of subtle body energy work comes to life. This gathering is an invitation to journey inward collectively, guided by meditation and the ethereal sounds of ambient electronic music, designed to harmonize and align your subtle energetic body.

We will begin by connecting as a collective, sharing our current energetic states, discussing where physical discomfort may reside, and exploring the emotional landscapes we are navigating. Tara will then lead you into a meditation, supported by gentle breathwork, to bring your mind into a state of deep relaxation. Through this breath, you will open and align the energetic centers and channels within your body, allowing yourself to fully embrace the experiences that unfold.

In a state of peaceful repose, you will be guided through a profound body and mind relaxation meditation. As you rest, enveloped in mental, physical, and emotional tranquility, you will receive energy work aimed at aligning your subtle body, all while being bathed in healing, original ambient music created by Just Milk, Tara’s own electronic music project.

To conclude, you will be gently guided back to the present moment, with mindful awareness and gentle stretches to reawaken your body. We will then share and reflect on your experiences, with Tara offering insights on how to maintain your newfound calm, deepen your connection to yourself, and nurture your connection with others ending the session with a loving-kindness meditation.
